How to paste the Hellgate logo on a custom wallpaper?

[:1]Hi everyone. I'm trying to make a wallpaper of Hellgate London. I've searching the web and it seems that a lot of people managed to make this custom wallpapers with any image on the background and pasting, for example, a templar guard and the HL logo on a corner. Now, I can get the HL logo using google, I know that, but all I get is always the same: the logo inside a black or a white square. If I paste this square to my background pic... well, that's not cool. How do people manage to paste it and get this awesome wallpapers that are so similar to the official ones? All I want is the HL logo in my custom wallpaper with no black or white square sorrounding it. Can anybody help me with this?|||Hey gabimilito,

Welcome to the forums. What photo editing software are you using. They have tools that help out with cutting out parts of a pic but some have more complete one.

For example, with Fireworks you have the Magic Wand tool. It helps out a lot. The rest you can use Erase or Lasso tool.

I hope that answers your question.|||Quote:

Thanks!!! I'm using Photoshop, but it seems impossible with the extract command. I will try Fireworks now. Thanks again.|||You're welcome!
