Was Shipping On Time With Bugs Worth it? You Vote!

Support your vote with comments if you have anything to say.|||Yes.

I would prefer to play it and watch it evolve than have it release with just as many bugs in 6 months time, because they don't have enough people, even in beta, to give it a proper testing.|||Haven't had any major impact by the bugs. The only one that really pisses me off is the Unique Item bug as I am currently at a level where uniques start showing up frequently.|||I think the negative user experience and bad press has done more harm for the game than shipping it late would have.|||Haven't had any bugs playing solo, tried partying today and there was a huge amount of bugs in that.|||better to be able to play, than not t all.

Many good games got better after people started playing them.

They get more feedback this way.

(Even if betatesters are great)|||I love playing this game, but I think if they should have polished it a little more.

For example, my debate to subscribe is largely depending the bugs that exist and how they handle them. If these bugs weren't here, I would of subscribed for the extra content itself.|||Maybe, I haven't had any huge problems with the game, but the memory leak and graphics problems before the patch did get extremely annoying. Kinda depends on how much it would've been delayed.|||should of polished it... advantage would have been a more enjoyable game and higher average reviews|||got it the day it hit the stores. still, i think i should have waitet some more. I have a realy bad first impressino of this game by now.

If you could add your own NPC...

Who would you choose, what would they do, why would you choose them

Feel free to add any extra quirks or quest names or whatever :P

I would add Letterman. Every now and then, he would break out into a rendition of "Old Turkey Buzzard" while talking to a canadian potato on a stick next to him.

He would sell home editions of "Will it float?" and a piece of paper with his number on it if you're character is female

That guy survived like 5 bypass surgeries, there's no way in hell he's dying anytime soon :P|||Deckard Cain.... so I wouldn't have to keep buying Analyzers! "Stay awhile... and listen!"

How about a guy named Arthur who is fashioned after the Monty Python rendition, and gives you quests like 'Kill the Vicious Rabid Caerbannog' or 'Find Two Shrubberies and Receive The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch'|||Quote:

'Find Two Shrubberies and Receive The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch'

I'm thinking firefox launcher style >_>

More of a holy hand grenade launcher

Unless it was a skill for mm's in the grenade tree *ponders*

And I had a feeling DC would show up on the first page ;)|||Mayor West, from Family Guy. Certainly crazy enough to fit in.

Of course he'd want you to find out who's stealing his water. Or assassinate the Noid.|||A Scotsman called Alex Ferguson and a Frenchman called Arsene Wenger. Between giving you quests, they keep squabbling and slagging each other off (like a sort of Tweedledum and Tweedledee). :D Too parochial for our global colleagues? For those that don't know, they are two very successful football (that's PROPER football! :P ) managers, who are constantly at each others throats. And "Fergie" was the man who trained up David Beckham.|||Deckerd Cain and a Monty Pythons reference before the 3rd post! Oh wow!

St Paul Station!

St Paul Station!

St Paul Station!

It's only a model...

For my pick, I would choose Jeremy Clarkson. For him you would need to do some proper killing. Or find the corpse of a guy with a helmet. Ofcourse it won't let you remove the helmet and the guy wouldn't be really dead, but would kill all the demons in the area just so he could get to his car.|||Hmm Perhaps have an English Gentleman librarian and a Female Blademaster/cheerleader type you find the librarian and he asks you to find and rescue the cheerleader but she is way to hard and assists you in that zone

the watching man and Buffed up the demon slayer (Yes buffy reference I am sure she would love to kick but in a REAL hellmouth not some smalltown USA with no real Demons|||The Walking Man from The Stand and myself. I'm a Knight Templar so it's not a stretch that I'd be around still. Yes, we really do exist.|||Oh sweet merciful Durf, Smegtars rendered in glorious 3D!!!

I would add a sick, twisted old billionaire who enjoys making you do crazy things. For instance, he would offer you a large amount of palladium in exchange for coming back to him at exactly 1 health, or something the like.

Oh, and as for TV/Movie references, prepare to help out Mr. Adrian Monk. You get "They Aren't Even", a quest to reduce the number of _____es in _____ to an even number.|||I have the ultimate smegtar source pic but I can't release it quite yet.

It came from the Wiki!

This is no news to us visitors of the Unofficial Hellgate Site, or people who have deliberately searched for information on Hellgate, such as the mini-game, what Achievements that you can accomplish in the game, what demons you can kill, NPCs you can talk to, what Quests you can venture on, and what GUNS you can bring, simply put: HellgateWiki.com is currently the best place to find Hellgate related materials on the net today. Still, the community needs your help!

Help!

For many of the things added to the Wiki, there are a few exceptionally talented Wiki-fanatics (such as me, just that I am in no way exceptional) that writes pages worth of Quest information, NPCs and other things, and that is terrific! The Hellgate community would not have had HellgateWiki if it wasn't for them. For even more of the information needed to fully explain Hellgate's functionality, we need a lot of the small, minor efforts of other individuals (like yourself) as well.

What do you want?

Things like just adding your opinion on the Community Feature Requests project, to tell Flagship the opinions of the community is a good example. If you agree to issues, or have suggestions for adding requests, a 5 minute edit is very useful for yourself in the end, in terms of game progress.

Accurate Skill Calculations

Another big thing is the fact that Hellgate: London has an overly complex system of skills and stats. Complex when it comes to terms of explaining it or documenting what it is about. If we ever want a way to calculate skills that is accurate, we need help with filling out data. This coming week has Evoker focus, but any class' data will be most useful. The fine thing with having it in the HellgateWiki is also that anyone can use it for their own projects as well!

Anyway, there are a lot of things you can do for the community as a whole, without taking much time from gaming or free time at all. You probably appreciate the efforts of the few vigilant, but its nice if you also spend 5 minutes with adding a skill page screenshot in the Unofficial Gallery, or just the data needed for stat research.

Thanks for your time

Respecing Skills in Hellgate

So, this has been a topic of discussion that has been going on an off since long before the game was even released. Now that the game is released, and people have been maxing their characters, what do you think? Is the game time investment small enough to warrant a complete lack of respecialisation possibilities, or is there room for some type of change in skills?|||I'm all for every character getting ONE respec.|||I have been pondering this for some time, and I find it odd that a game as new and nice as Hellgate really lacks any respecialisation functionality. For me, being very attached to characters I play, I'd rather have replayability on my characters, than being forced to make new ones. On the other hand, free respecs will make you careless with skills.

Still, if you have a chance of changing the specialisation, you wouldn't *have* to either wait with putting skills out, or read up on all the skills before actually playing. Isn't playing and learning the fun part? I will vote a bit later, but I am positive that I want some type of respec possibility at least.|||One respec is pointless since it'll be like the Charsi Imbue - you won't want to use it. It has to be repeatable in a non-obnoxious period of time.

The last poll option is equally pointless - respec is coming. It may as well read "Candy!" because that's how useful voting for that option is!

I'd like to see a palladium cost involved, to ensure the continued value of it in the game.

I also wouldn't mind seeing it cost palladium to open up a quest you have to complete to get your respec token, to address the perceived issue where people will be respeccing to beat every boss that's a little difficult with one spec.

But simply costing more the more often you respec, less if you do it less often, that ought to be enough.

Cue the usual suspects spouting the same tired old reasons why respecs will ruin the game in 5, 4, 3...|||The MP party environment will focus on the 6 classes, and not on the larger set of possible builds.

If you are class X, average MPer will expect Y, and fuss if you don't have/do Y.

I also don't like someone getting to use a tweaked build after using cookie cutter approaches to level. They probably won't ever learn to use the new build to its best capacity.

Very wow-like, very annoying (It just takes too much time to level in WoW to start over).

Also makes large guilds pointless...

If they do put it in, I'd like to see it put behind an extremely difficult quest, in nightmare.

No palladium, that just screams abuse from bought money.|||Yes to a confirm box stopping misclicks. No to the respec.|||The poll should have a low level limited respec option (say level 20 or so).

You wont be able to go all the way with an easy spec when it warrants it, but you can still fix noob mistakes.

THOUGH...

If they just added skill tooltips saying what each skill does, then I am all for just having the misclick function.|||What I meant by "one respec" was completely remove all skill points ONE time.|||Yes. And such a thing would be pointless. People would be too reluctant to use it. It needs to be something that can be done repeatedly if it is to be of any use.|||Quote:

I agree on this.

It can help some careless people once, and preventing some people that want to switch from one specific build to a whole new build.

subscription w/o cc

Ok, at this time (and for the rest of my life tbh) I don't have a creditcard. I had one, and discovered it to be a HIGHLY unsafe way of payment. So I will never own one again.

BUT, if I want to subscribe, I only see CC payment methods (where is the founders option btw).

Is there any other way to do it?|||wish I could help but I can't find the thread, there is to be a paypal, debit from bank and prepaid time card options available in the future but I don't know when cuz I can't find the thread on the official HGL site.

In the mean time...you can purchase a prepaid Visa/MC and put $40 or so on it and it will hold you for the first 4 months, then maybe recharge it again as an option until the other payment methods are in place.|||It's not as if I miss the subscription options at this time, but I would like to see if I could get the founder thing. At this time, I think it's impossible. And when it is possible (as you said, paypal etc.), the founder thing is definitly offer.

Oh well.

What content do you want?

Hey all, my midnight posting frenzy continues

This is a "fun" discussion thread about whatever you think (realistic or otherwise) would be a great content inclusion in the future.

I'm thinking like chainsaw's, hand held crossbows or other such fun "lol" items.

As for content as in game worlds, I would love to see an homage to a cow level

"Put 2 PRD's in the nano forge and a portal opens" where hordes of possesed bovine charge you with guns and the like

Remember, nothing is too silly. If you would like to see it, post it and we might all just get a laugh |||Player controlled vehicles would always be fun |||A catapult-thingy that fires circular saw blades for Hunters.

At worst, it might take someone's eye out, but damn. Seeing a multi-coloured demon would just be tops |||Once they get promised features into the game, especially "mailing" items to other characters, then my brain will be able to move on to other ideas I'd like to see.|||I'd like to see some blunt melee weapons in the game. Hammers, Maces, etc.|||Cricket Bat !!!! is that blunt enough for you

Maybe having a Blunt Weapons Templar

Templar Spiritual Guide (The REAL Holy knights (Paladin) )

use Blunt medevel weapons (Sword exemption is Cricket bat (it IS blunt)|||A football pitch level, complete with a demonic eleven.|||Quote:

How to take screenshots in Hellgate?

I am trying to take some screenshots both for my personal collection and may be start contributing to the wiki.

I tried the print screen button but after I quit the game, I can't find where they are, or if they have been indeed taken. I tried looking for them in the /program Files/Flagship Studios/Hellgate London directory but no luck. I also tried the My Documents/My Games/Hellgate directory and nothing. Did I miss something? Can anyone help?|||You were almost there, if you did indeed take a screen shot it will be stored in the My Documents/My Games/Hellgate/Screenshots folder.|||I can offer you the program that I am using to take screens from every game I'm playing - ScreenHunter Free 5.0.125

http://www.wisdom-soft.com/products/...unter_free.htm|||am I correct hellgate will not take screenies in the character creation/selection area only in the actual game, t9o take a screenie in the character creation/selection area you need a screen capture programme like the one above or fraps|||My experience with screen hunter is bad, it put a box in the corner saying "Screenshot by screenhunter" type watermark.

If they've done away with that "feature" then it's worth using.

Otherwise, its not worth the download.|||Mine do go to:

C:\Users\babylon\Documents\My Games\Hellgate\Screenshots

BUT, they become 0 bytes

Luckelly I'm a paying Fraps user. That solves all my problems

edit: oo oo, 150th post /cheer /party|||I'm running Vista x64 and I don't get any screenprints saved anywhere within the game.... Given that many people are talking about c:\users\ paths for their screenprints, I guess this must be a x64 issue.|||Vista 32 here - no screenshots are saved in my "Hellgate" folder either...

However, Print Screen DOES copy a screenshot to the clipboard from where I can paste them into GIMP...|||Quote:

I am using Windows XP and no screenshot copied to the Hellgate folder in My Document/My Games. The right button to press to take screenshot is "print screen" right?

Fluctuation in stat req.

The requirements, especially on my weapons, changes about everytime I relog. Sometimes it's 4 will and 33 will on the other, other times it's 17 and 24. This is really bugging me out. Anyone else having this? Is this a known error?|||I haven't noticed this yet. What realm are you on? Currently, I have just enough willpower to equip both my weapons, so if they were to fluctuate then I'd probably have noticed something. I'll have a look next time I log on.|||Im on Sydona [EU]

Finally I get to see what stats are on some unique items. If someone else has the same items I would like to see if they have the same stats or if those are random too on uniques.

|||I've only found Hotshot so far, a rather useless weapon for my engineer as I do despise those slow firing rocket pistols. Indeed, of the three uniques I found yesterday (I was playing a *lot*) there's one that I might use, but it's requirements are quite high.|||Holy crap that rifle looks like a nice low level weapon.|||Ya in diablo2 uniques had the same stats only the actual numbers varied a lil bit. Like ballista couldve been +damage between 200-250%. Glad to hear its the same here.|||The Grandmaster is VERY common by the way. Before the last patch, I looted about 4 or 5 of them. I was told many people looted a bunch too. I think there was a bug which caused it to drop so much. Not sure if Patch .5 fixed it.

I also agree about the ridiculous requirements for Legendary and Uniques. At level 33, I have a TON of armor I can't wear because I don't have enough stamina or will. Keep that in mind when you distribute your points. In fact, I would save some attribute points for later on. I sure wish I did that.|||Quote:

I have re-rolled a BM today and have chosen not to spend ANY attr points when i level, rather keep them and spend them when i fing something i want to fit... Developer Chat Transcript Online

This evening Flagship held their developer chat event answering questions from the community. The turn-out wasn't bad, although less than we expected, perhaps due to the late time for people in Europe. Anyway, some good questions were asked and we now have a full transcript of the chat online for your perusal.

Topics in the chat included respecs, reputation, future game updates, new artwork on levels and much more Go get it!|||"What is the secret behind warts leg?

Sooo, Wart's Leg + PRD -> Transmogrifier = lots and lots of demonic cows?|||I was really hoping for some questions on guilds and guild management interface. As it is right now the controls are very basic, invite, kick, hand over control to another member.

I'd like the ability to check guild members to see where they have progressed to in the game.

What level they are even when they aren't in the game

Of course officer assignment (.7 patch I read)

Maybe the ability to give your members a ranking as to how friendly/helpful they are to other guild members|||Aarrgh what that should be standard, I play guildwars and this is what I understand of how guilds work (and should do)

Guild Leader: Created the guild or promoted by outgoing guild leader

Guild Officer: Has some of leaders powers but not all

Guild member: has permanent access to guild hall (Meeting place for guild)

Guest: can enter guild hall as guest of officer or maybe member

also how do you identify a guild member in GW guilded characters often wear a cape with the guild colours and emblem on it plus there name has a 3 or 4 letter code in square brackets

example

Vert Morta [XMAS] shows even if I am not wearing my cape I am a member of a guild

santa's Little Helpers [XMAS] and yes our guild leaders characters ahh have santa in there name like TDK Santa|||Eagerly awaiting Stonehenge.

I hope they don't nerf my Guardian too bad |||I wish they really had gone for a full extra hour, like I think they said they were going to. Instead they finished at 8:20 Eastern US time.

Not on the test server, at least.|||They add more fire like in the Fawkes Event and that'll drive the minimum system requirements through the roof. I'd be unable to play the game if they do that. So would everybody running at min specs right now.

If they do then dammit I hope they get hit with a class action lawsuit for false advertising.|||I don't know about other members of the community here, but I had been pretty turned off by the game since the Alpha and Beta finished.

During the Alpha and Beta, I got a sense from Flagship that they were into continuously improving the game, and that was very rewarding for participants. Then, at launch, I felt like that sense disappeared entirely. At that point, the game just felt rushed, incomplete, and not entirely satisfying. The Halloween deadline, and ability to patch after launch led them to release a sub-standard product. And I say this as someone who puts Diablo 2 as the greatest computer game of all time.

Anyway, I say this as a means of introduction to a much improved feeling after reading the transcript of the recent developer's chat. It does look like they are listening to the community, and have a lot of positive improvements in the pipeline. So far, there has been absolutely no reason to subscribe -- I mean temporary content of limited value?!? The changes all sound great, but it seems like Flagship doesn't have the internal (human) resources to produce them with the appropriate speed.

I've stopped playing HG:L and Mythos a bit to wait for the next patches for both. So far I think Mythos has had better atmosphere and fan relations (Travis Baldree is a big factor there, I think).

In sum, here's to high hopes for Hellgate, and enough decent content to get me to blow $10 a month on it!|||Quote:

Crap, I have trashed mine.

Any pattern/trait on item generation?

Wanted to post this in the stats forum, but I don't literally find anything yet so I will post in here instead

When I play my marksman (Level 36) and my guardian (Just reached level 13) I have noticed an interesting trait. Know that I dismantle anything I don't need so that I can get the scrap materials, and apparently I noticed that I have the most scrap materials that belongs to my class that I am playing (Blessed shards for templar, and tech components for marksman.) I mean, even I have use some scrap material to upgrade weapons on both class, but I still have far more materials than other ones.

I have screenshot my inventory for references.

From my marksman:

From my guardian:

I suppose the scrap material (The real scrap material, not class specific ones) has the most amount as any enhanced/rare/legendaries etc I dismantled will generate those.

Anyone can confirm about how items are generated?|||Yes, the drops are weighted toward the faction your character is. Haven't you noticed anecdotally that you could use most of the crap that drops?

It seems to be near 50%, from what my impressions give me and your scrap piles say. Instead of 1/3. Obviously a good thing; when more factions are added that 1/3 would have shrank tremendously. Also should help farming for specific items..

Also this is a good reason to have a sword in storage as a hunter/cabalist to finish the minigame in a reasonable time.|||Yeah, I think it is more or less of that pattern. Something like 50% for your class and 25% for others?|||Quote:

Yeah, % sure that is so.

Check out Mini-game info page if unsure.

just cancelled my subscription

This game is really dwindling on me... I mean considering that subscriptions get you just a few extra pixels of stash space right now is a pretty big let down...

Also, when you really think about it... say the December patch does add Stonehenge. Is one new main area and maybe a couple new tile sets really gonna make me feel my 10 dollars was well invested... and on top of that will it really keep my interest level up to keep me coming back to the game?

I guess I'll just have to wait for the release of Mythos as the true Diablo successor|||hahaha. IMO, subscribing right off the bet is more like a vote of confidence and showing support more than anything. If all you want is "bang for your buck" you should wait a year and then pay the subscription and you get all the good stuff in one payment. Kinda silly on FSS's side but oh well, nothing I can do to make them see the light of micro transaction.|||Yeah they released it too soon, but i'm glad they did because I still love it.

Like you said, in a year the subscribers won't regret paying for it i'm sure. Now you can put your 10 dollars towards something useful like helping kids in Africa right Distauma?|||Quote:

What you said in your post has merit but starting it out like that makes you look like a prat. Nobody but you and Flagship care if you cancel your subscription. And whether you do or don't cancel doesn't affect the validity of your complaints.

"I have cancelled/will cancel if..." = tool.|||So you canceled it before they've even had a chance to address all the bugs? How do you know that in your haste you're not going to miss something? Or does the lack of instant gratification grate too much?

Sure the game sucks now. Give it time. They'll either fix it or go out of business|||I'm surpised you didn't hang on for a couple of weeks to see what the extra contant actually WAS, before deciding. We're also on the eve of a big patch, so your timing seems unfortunate.

However, obviously I respect your right to do this, and you haven't whined. I hope you come back to the game later, and find it is what you were initially after. At least you still have multiplayer, so you can dip back in to see how the patch turns out.|||personally, im not a subscriber, may never be one, but it boils down to the fact, do u wanna trust your $10 to a game that hasnt really leaped yet ?. id like to but im not able to afford it :P|||Yes, the game has problem at this moment. However, I am going to hang in there and give them a chance to make good.

Heck, you should have seen the Internet when it first started, wow lots of data at 300 baud.

No, I do not expect that the game will grow that way but after all the bucks I have tossed at computer games over the last 30 years what the heck is 10 more.

Amen to that!

J|||Hey Flagship Studios, are you reading? I don't think so, anyway, let me advise you to change the way you make money, just forget about subscriptions, that doesn't work in a game like Hellgate, forget about it, and start a new model where everything is free for everyone, with a online store for selling interesting things (character slots, inventory slots, unique armors/weapons (appearance only, not overpower), +10% experience scrolls, and so on)

HG:L disappointment...

I think i will quit playing HG:L and start with starcraft 2 (when it is released)..

don't you guys think hellgate is a disapointment?|||I always try to disregard the hype around games so when I get them, I have no expectations.

As for a disappointment, not sure yet. I'll tell you christmas day.

Though having already sunk about 15 hours into farming the demo, I highly doubt I will be let down :P

::EDIT:: The aura of FSS and the fact this game was coined the spiritual successor to D2 set the game up to disappoint, imho.

Everyone was expecting diablo 3, but got a box full of bugs.

To be fair, I can understand the need of a small publisher to put a game out early, especially with (most likely) whining from EA. Give it a few more months and keep an open mind.

Overall consensus that I've heard around town is that the game is still as addictive as D2, assuming your PC doesn't suck and assuming you can get past the bugs which are slowly getting dealt with.

Personally, I would have much preferred to play the game with bugs rather than waiting until march or whatever. Especially since I just quit WoW and sold all my characters off.|||I can agree with the addiction factor. Even at times where I don't even have time to clear one area, I still log on :D|||HGL was pretty hyped and for a lot of people it just didn't live up to their expectations for that reason. I had no expectations let alone hyped ones and so I see the game for what it is - a great game with some quirks (none of which are unfixable by updates). In its current state it's not a game everyone will remember in 10 years from now on, but it's definitely worth playing and so far I have lots of fun with it.|||I didnt have much expectations for this game as it was a gift from friends. Although it didnt match up to the hype of it being a D2 successor, it is actually a addictive game which I just have to log on to HG:L every time I'm in front of my PC. Just couldnt help it. And I feel that it is worthwhile to contiune to play since it is gonna get better as it goes along. Just need more patches and debugging from FSS.|||All I am hoping long term as they are hoping to work for a MMO type market is constant development of the game so it will not get stale especialy as there is little post end game material (what to do when you beat the endgame boss?)|||I've just finished Single Player as a Marksman and I really enjoyed it. Nightmare mode has been unlocked but I've left it (for the moment) to try out the other characters. I've started an Engineer and already I'm hooked again.

Even if I do take this online, I'm happy with the investment (time and money) into this game. Also, the demo really does not do this game justice.

I'm off to get a gun retrofit for my drone! |||I hadnt read the HGL hype machine before launch, so I wasnt expecting much either. I also bought the game without intending to subscribe. What I got was a lot of entertainment for my $40usd so Im quite happy with the purchase.

Sorry to hear youre disappointed.|||I, for one, have quit the game. I played through the regular game and started through nightmare, reaching lvl 44. But I just burned out on it.

{{{shrug}}} I was really looking forward to the game, but there's just too little content right now.|||I don't think Hellgate is a disappointment yet. Similiar to above, I never listened to the hype pre-launch, and I actually never really planned on getting the game as it all depended on the news of Mythos and Starcraft 2. Still, I picked it up anyway and even though I haven't found it as addicting as D2 I still think it's a good game with alot of potential, and I'll still be playing it for at least another 6 months.

Do i have to do ALL quests?

Let's face it if your goal is to do all quests then you will get bored and frustrated. Some quests are almost impossible because even if you explored the whole map twice you still didn't kill a enemy 13/14. Some quests wich make you use items in a certain moment(ex before a boss dies) must be reset to achive them in case smt goes wrong.

But why to do all of them? For gameplay?what gameplay? To be more realistic you have to do them for stat points.

For example even if i have a level 31 summoner and i put all my points for mana and the rest to make the minimu mrequierments for my armour and also i did 99% of the quests for stat points i can't have my 10fire eles+spectral elemental in the same time because i must have 50 points of energy more. Luckly for my i found some armour wich gave me enough energy to have 10 fire eles at a given time.

Even if i had to make another 3 characters(stupid thing you can't reskill) so this one could have a good build i was amazed with the fact that after killind synoday you must restart the same story only to be played in a harder mode.

I mean wtf after level 30 they abandoned making a story?

I was hoping that this game as it promised to be verry interesting. I saw some good parts taken from WoW(diversity, talent tree) and GW(skills, instances no obligatory subscription) but to be sincere this is kind of dull game. I wanted to see more ingame movies the long borring texts and at least to learn smt from copetitors and implement this that worked:

-action house

-more encoraging in team play in multiplayer(sometimes i fell i am alone on the server)

-more diverse quests and movies

-not so many buggs

-pvp for all like team arenas

My decision:back to Guild Wars!|||Um. If you want the game to stop after killing the final boss, it's easy. Just stop playing! Tbh, the quests are a way of getting experience/money/good standing with a faction. If you don't need any of that, you don't need to do them. And since the quests are randomly generated, you can't do all of them anyway. And if you need to use something on a boss for a quest, the body will remain, and you just use the item on the corpse. (Sorry for the layout of my answer, the return key is broken. Sigh.)|||Quote:

I am not sure about this, but aren't new quest(s) triggers when new areas are available?|||Quote:

Sorry, I meant they are infinite: Hello [Zanussi], please kill [7] [stalkers] in [Bishopsgate] and I will give you this [rare] [belt] of [refreshing] [poisonousness].|||Remember the Marvin-clone shopkeeper at Liverpool Street Station. From time to time I do a paradoy of him

"yes...yes...more quests...I will try to write better quests for you next time...if you come back"|||Quote:

No they're not. It just seems like they are because the quest designers were lazy. ^_^|||I've done all quests at normal. There are no more.

Ok, I still have to hand in one, but the lady I need to hand it too, left the station for the story line...|||Oops. Sorry, my bad.

P.S. Babylon, doesn't everyone appear in St Paul's at the end?|||Not my St. Paul...
