How to save whenever you want to

Starting off, I was pretty pissed off that you can't save. (exiting the game doesn't always work, especially if you use cheats like a trainer) The game overall is fun but somewhat disappointing after all the hype. However, it is the first rpg i've gotten into since back when I had nintendo and Snes final fantasy I!

anyways, i finally realized that you can force a save very easily by just standing in one spot and getting killed. When using a trainer and money is no object, then pay to ressurect yourself. presto!! you have just saved your character exactly where you were. I was frustrated that I kept having to repeat parts over again if I quit the game in the middle of a dungeon. also, i was playing one character through the game without cheating, and one character using a training to see just how fun the game actually is. for example, some games are actually ridiculous unless you cheat, and the main fun in the game comes from having the coolest weapons. Battle out of hell, all the serious sam franchise, etc. really are not interesting games, unless you have cool weapons and can blow zombies to smithereens.

so if you use a trainer, say the DX10 trainer, level yourself up all you want, then just die. you can keep all the cheats! how sweet is that.|||I've never had any trouble getting my character to save, other than online when the server came down unexpectedly during alpha... and sometimes not even then was it a problem.

If you're using cheats, you can't really be surprised when things don't work entirely properly, particularly when they're not officially sanctioned ones like "trainer" programs.

Most of the fun in the game comes from collecting cool items and using different skills. It's not so hard in normal mode that cheating is really needed, in my opinion.
