[:1]Calling all technical help, We have a virus rogue non-member program editing pages randomly and deleting all the information on the page and replacing it with advertisements similar to Email Spam, Viagra, Porno and drugs all that crap signature of spam. The edits are coming from a randomy changing IP address off site and non- member that edits random pages every 6 hours. No this is not a movie, this is not science fiction, its really happening, and we need a solution to stop it. Our glorious administrator, Flux has been absent for 2 years now, last logged in 2008 when the game got shut down. We need someone to shut off access to non-members to get this virus stopped. ither that or we need track down the original code, and stop it at the source. Anyone knows how to track down cyber criminals?|||The following pages have been confirmed a loss as of this printing: Character overview, Game Mechanics, Game Mechanics category form, 75% of every page in the general section.|||I will have it looked into. There should still be a back up of the data.|||All done. I have done a mass cleanup on the site today.
rapdogztor, I have aso made you a sysop along with Dacar on the Wiki in case I am not around. I also tweaked a few things in the wiki today to fix screwed up links and stuff
I dodnt knwo baou these problems until today when Elly poked me, when stuff like vandalism goes on we need to get on it quick.
