Offered a rush but what's the point?

I've was offered a rush though the main quests which I politely declined.

What's the point? I could not see any benefit. I do every quest.

Is there any benefit to been rushed? If anyone knows could they explain the benefits?

Cheers|||Hard to say, I have always been one to do everything myself. Even in my D2 days. Only help I ever accepted rush wise was the occasianal waypoint and since you dont have those in Hellgate I see no purpose to it.|||Well there kinda are waypoints in HGL...those being the stations themselves. If you joined the party of a higher lvl's character than yourself, he is able to get you to a higher station than the ones you have reached.

You cant just port to him though. The way to get around this is for him to run from the station which you cant get to, back one portal towards your current station. {does that make any sense???} lol! only then can you port to him and run through the portal to the new station.

Why would you want to do this... well it gives you access to bigger and better items (weapons, armour, or mods etc).|||I'm see what you're saying omen. Seems like a lot of aggro just to buy better kit from vendors although there is a chance to pick up some nice bits and bobs on the way.

I think though that you'd be missing out on getting those extra +1 stat point quests which I like. Also, having to go back and do those quests later seems like a drag.

I'm more of the mind set of Shadow and do everything myself.|||Well I did kinda rush my MM through normal, but that was only because I wanted all my characters to be elite and just wanted to get normal over and done with.
