Wanted to post this in the stats forum, but I don't literally find anything yet so I will post in here instead
When I play my marksman (Level 36) and my guardian (Just reached level 13) I have noticed an interesting trait. Know that I dismantle anything I don't need so that I can get the scrap materials, and apparently I noticed that I have the most scrap materials that belongs to my class that I am playing (Blessed shards for templar, and tech components for marksman.) I mean, even I have use some scrap material to upgrade weapons on both class, but I still have far more materials than other ones.
I have screenshot my inventory for references.
From my marksman:
From my guardian:
I suppose the scrap material (The real scrap material, not class specific ones) has the most amount as any enhanced/rare/legendaries etc I dismantled will generate those.
Anyone can confirm about how items are generated?|||Yes, the drops are weighted toward the faction your character is. Haven't you noticed anecdotally that you could use most of the crap that drops?
It seems to be near 50%, from what my impressions give me and your scrap piles say. Instead of 1/3. Obviously a good thing; when more factions are added that 1/3 would have shrank tremendously. Also should help farming for specific items..
Also this is a good reason to have a sword in storage as a hunter/cabalist to finish the minigame in a reasonable time.|||Yeah, I think it is more or less of that pattern. Something like 50% for your class and 25% for others?|||Quote:

How would having a melee weapon in storage help with the minigame? If there is a way to bybass that stupid find a melee icon, I'd be eternally grateful.|||Quote:

I never tried it, but I don't think storing a melee weapon will help, even the mini game requires a melee weapon. I think you have to actually acquire them from monster/stash/crates etc.|||Quote:

Yeah, % sure that is so.
Check out Mini-game info page if unsure.
