Most Poweful PvE Build?

I was wondering if anyone could help me find the more powerful PvE (non-party) classes and builds in the game, cookie-cutters allowed. I had a search on the forum but it seemed pretty fruitless unless you knew what build you were looking for...

I just started playing the game. The first character I'd created is a BM but I soon (lvl 12+) found it to be pretty dire, to the point where i'm now using surgecasters(?) to get anywhere and thus my skills are worthless...

So I thought I'd create a new character and as it'll be my first proper play-through of the game I would like one that'll make it rather easy.

So does anyone have recommendations? Any specific guides I should look at?

I'm just looking for a class and build that is really powerful to the point of being overpowered.

Pimothy|||Guardian + Shield Turn = Trivializing 95% of the game. If you just want to cheese your way through, that's a pretty easy way.

Or used to be. I'll admit I haven't played my Guardian in months. But the final boss in the game hit me about 4 times in total.

Your only weakness will be flying things. Get Heaven's Arc or a decent gun to combat that.

Anything that walks around on the ground, Shield Turn will probably stun and you can hack them to death with your sword.|||Summoners are really nice I am now lv.21 and have only died twice I think both those times were due to extreme lag though. Summoners are good since they can simply back out of combat,resummon minions and elementals, and then go back in. You rarely take damage and if you invest your skill points right are basically unbeatable. The vast majority of people beliave that the summoner class is overpowered and I agree. ^_^
