Attributes for Dummies

I don't have any sage advice about attributes. I'm asking for sage advice. This is the only part of the game that has me buffaloed.

I realize that attributes change with item equippage, but what does it all mean?

Would someone please interpret these attributes for me? What are the double sets of numbers trying to tell me?

Yeah, I know, sounds like a noob question, but many, many thanx for your inputs.|||The big white number is the amount of specific attribute you can take.

The small blue number is the amount of specific attribute used by your current equipments.

For instance, you have 43 accuracy and you can carry equipments that has accuracy requirement equal or lower than 43. In this case, your character only used 9 accuracy feed at the moment.|||Thanx, Eve, for your interpretation. It's very simple, but I guess I was trying to make too much of it.|||Ok, here's another question, just for the record, since this question was posed to me and I'm seeking confirmation.

When you run your mouse over some equipment in inventory or stash, the attribute bars might show some yellow. Does that mean that the attributes would change by the corresponding amount if that item is equipped?

Also, this is obvious, when the bars show some red, then your char can't equip that item. Right?|||That's right. The yellow is the amount you will use if you equip that item. the blue bit is any remaining attribute points, and red is more points than is available.|||Thanx, Jezcentral, for your answers.

Attributes for Dummies training course has been successfully completed.

I didn't see any other post about Attributes being as specific as through this discussion. Hopefully this will help others who may have these questions.|||There is a exception.....sometimes when you look at a weapon it will show as red when you can use it because it is adding both the weapon you got equiped and the one your looking at. If your not sure, just unequip your current weapon then check.|||Thanx, Shadow. Excellent point.
